ECHO Homes

Projects

At Eastern Connecticut Housing Opportunities (ECHO), we are committed to creating high-quality, housing that is affordable for individuals and families throughout Eastern Connecticut. Our team remains actively engaged with local organizations, government agencies, and community partners to ensure our work reflects the evolving needs of the region.

We are currently focused on expanding housing opportunities in Groton, Montville, Norwich, and New London. By rehabilitating vacant or neglected properties, we not only provide safe, welcoming homes but also help revitalize neighborhoods and strengthen communities.

Our vision is to build places where people can live with dignity, raise families, contribute to their communities, and feel a true sense of pride in where they live—because when people thrive, communities thrive.

From navigating complex real estate transactions to managing thoughtful design and renovation, ECHO works hand-in-hand with local programs, funders, and partners to overcome challenges and deliver meaningful, lasting impact.

Rendition of 66 Union Street/State Street – Groundbreaking is July 7th, 2026. The project is expected to take 19 months. Once completed, it will have 46 rental units and 2 commercial spaces.

Bayonet II construction was completed January, 2026.
